We take data security very seriously.

Suburban Miners has made a substantial investment to provide our valued clients a top of the line mobile hard drive shredding and degaussing service. We provide data sanitation and electronic recycling services in strict adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act. Through an unbroken chain of custody, our procedures and documentation guarantee absolute data security while ensuring full compliance with various federal regulations.

Walk in shredding service. Bring in your hard drives and disks and have them shredded on the spot in minutes. Watching your drives go through the shredder brings a peace of mind that cannot be found with other solutions.

Fees:

In most cases our services are free. We only charge to shred hard drives when you have a large number of drives and will not be turning over the computers with them.

Call 520-406-7446 for a price quote for shredding at your location.

We have a proprietary mobile documenting service that can scan hard drive bar codes and asset tags, automaticallty enter them into a database and print certificates of destruction merged with your product ids for your records.

Suburban Miners's Data Reinspect procedure gives Suburban Miner's clients an additional level of security. All equipment received at our facility is carefully inspected for the presence of data-containing media. If media not previously identified by the client is located, we immediately notify our point of contact with a complete description of the media, and upon direction, either return or destroy the media.

Our mobile data destruction equipment is compliant with the following standards:

  • PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry) Data Security Standard
  • NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology) Guidelines for Media
  • Sanitization
  • NIST SP 800-36
  • NIST SP 800-88
  • HIPAA (Health Information Portability and Accountability Act)
  • PIPEDA (Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act)
